The Wisley

The Wisley Greenhouse is the most popular size in the RHS collection measuring almost 9 foot in width by 11 foot 8 in length. Photographed here with optional double doors this cedar greenhouse is the workhorse of many a fine English Garden. The 45 degree pitch roof leads to a generous ridge height which is capped at each end with hand turned cedar finnials. Between these finnials is our unique ridge ventilation which runs the full length of the greenhouse providing ventilation at the highest point where it is needed most. At the base is cedar shiplap boarding which is a great natural insulator from both extremes of temperature. Cedar greenhouses tend to stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Should you prefer your greenhouse to be positioned on brickwork in place of the cedar shiplap then all you have to do is ask. We would provide plans for the preparation of the brickwork upon your order confirmation.Whatever you have in mind, a Gabriel Ash Greenhouse adds a new dimension to your garden.
