For larger gardens and Country Estates the Grand Vinehouse is the ideal addition to any walled garden. At over 9ft in width and 15ft in length the Grand Vinehouse is big enough for the grandest of gardens. The Vinehouse got its name from the wide array of grape vines that were grown in them in Victorian days. The higher eaves height at the rear made the greenhouses perfect for vines as they could become established before having to mould to the shape of the roof. Also know as ¾ lean-to’s, greenhouses like the Grand Vinehouse are usually situated on a south facing wall allowing the wall to act as a heat sink on sunny days and retain the heat long into the cold nights. As with all our RHS greenhouses, the structure comes with Cedar panels to the bottom of the curtain wall but could quite easily have a dwarf wall to replace the panelling.
