The Grand Upright Coldframe
More than just a standard coldframe, the Grand Upright Coldframe has been introduced for all those situations where a greenhouse is just too big, and our standard Upright Coldframe isn't big enough!
Coming without a back as standard (a back is available for the coldframe for an additional charge), the Grand Upright is designed to sit against a house or a courtyard wall.
The coldframe has a single sliding door, making it easy to shelter inside on those rainy days and tend all the plants on the 3 shelves to the opposite side that come as standard within the above costs.
For ventilation, the coldframe comes with 2 opening lids - the roof split into 2 - which are independently operated, so 1 can be opened whilst the other is left closed.
As with all our structures, the coldframe is made entirely from Western Red Cedar, with fixings of stainless steel and brass as standard, and powder coated aluminium for the door runners and sills.
The Grand Upright comes neatly boxed and in sections for easy self assembly.
