As an alternative to Internal Blinds, we are now offering external shading on our classic range of greenhouses.
As you can see from the image above the shading is a large piece of the synthetic material used on our internal blinds but cut to the exact size of your chosen structure.
The material is incredibly hardwearing and reduces the build up of heat in the structure by over 60%.
The shade has a length of cedar on both sides at the top and bottom. This is then secured in place by clips at the top of the roof panel (near the greenhouse vent) and by an elastic clip with stainless steel fixings at the bottom.
The blind is very easy to install and, once it's fitted, be left there for days shading your prized tomatoes from the heat of the summer sun. Then, when the summer season is over, the blind can be folded up or taken off completely.
At nearly half the price of internal blinds the external blind is good value for money and a real alternative for those people without the budget to stretch to internal blinds for their Gabriel Ash Greenhouse.
