The Six
The classic greenhouse range is designed in such a way that the panels on the sides and the back of the greenhouse are the same size. This means that you can add as much ventilation as you like to the greenhouse. A louvre vent at the plain end of the greenhouse opposite the door is a good idea. In this respect on a warm day you can open the louvre and the door and get a good draught running through the greenhouse. You can also choose to put cedar panelling in place of the toughened safety glass on the greenhouse. In this instance by choosing to put base panelling the same side of the glasshouse as the greenhouse staging any pots or bags of compost that are underneath the greenhouse staging are hidden from view from the outside. This flexible approach allows you to easily add extra ventilation at a later stage. One practical advantage of gardening in a wooden greenhouse is that it is easy to fit hooks, screws or wires to the generous cedar framework.
