What makes a Gabriel Ash greenhouse so different?

Every greenhouse you find on our website has been patiently designed and produced using the highest standards of traditional craftsmanship to ensure each greenhouse is of the most exceptional quality. All our greenhouses and coldframes are manufactured to the same high standards using traditional joinery techniques. The contemporary simplicity of our classic greenhouse range make them suitable for most gardens however for those with higher aspirations (and maybe higher plants) seeking a more traditional design - the RHS Collection should be a considered purchase.
Enduring greenhouses that will stand the test of time both practically and with refinement.

You do not have to look too closely at our greenhouses to see that almost every joint is a mortice and tennon joint - a joint revered for its strength. A mortise and tennon joint may be as strong as a single piece of wood. Using only these joints in our greenhouse framework makes them exceptionally strong. The panels for our greenhouses are pre-assembled in our workshop by time served bench joiners. This simplifies the assembly of the greenhouse in your garden - perhaps one of the reasons that hundreds of customers choose to assemble their gabriel ash greenhouse themselves. We do however offer a full assembly service should you prefer. Look closely at any of our products, even our seed trays employ finger jointing at the corners, and you will appreciate that we do not readily cut corners. The cappings used to capture the toughened safety glass on all our greenhouses are run through the spindle moulder to give them an architectural detail which accepts each solid oven baked brass screw and screw cup. Some of our greenhouses have more obvious traditional features like the hand turned cedar finnials on the RHS collection. Little details that put a Gabriel Ash greenhouse head and shoulders above the competition.

Through the careful selection of long lasting materials, clever and appealing design and exceptional execution of traditional joinery we are able to offer a greenhouse that is of exceptional quality at a realistic price. But our greenhouses offer something else - we get strength, functionality and even more longevity from the high specification technology we employ. What makes a Gabriel Ash greenhouse so different?
