Greece is the WordWe’ve erected hundreds of greenhouses in some fantastic gardens over the years but it is not everyday that we get to assemble a greenhouse in Greece. This large greenhouse, approximately twelve foot in width by twenty foot in length, sits comfortably amongst the olive groves on a hillside close to Athens. Often used in saunas - Western Red Cedar is the perfect material for warm environments. Conversely Western Red Cedar is commonly used in the construction of thousands of buildings in Northern America where it is recognised for its decay resistance and insulation values in the extreme cold of the winter. These valuable properties make cedar a popular choice of material for making greenhouses. Wooden greenhouses tend to stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer providing a more stable growing environment for your gardening needs. This wide greenhouse allows the facility to introduce a raised bed for growing centrally down its length. The customer opted for a number of louvre vents to be placed around the greenhouse for additional ventilation. |
