The Cedar House

Gabriel Ash green houses are the workhorse of many a fine English garden. We have a large range of greenhouses for sale but often are requested to produce other garden structures in cedar. Like our greenhouses the Cedarhouse, as the name might suggest, is constructed from Western Red Cedar. The Cedarhouse is a similar size to our Wisley greenhouse, measuring 2700mm (8 ft 10 inches) in width by 3500mm (11 ft 6 inches) in length. This attractive garden structure comes with a double doors as standard generous enough to house all manner of gardening tools and other garden equipment. We recognise the need for a high quality shed that will, like our greenhouses, not only be functionable but will be an attractive garden feature.

The Cedar House need not only be used for gardening equipment. You may use the shed to keep your garage free from clutter or simply as another place to relax in your garden. Use your imagination and you may find that the Cedarhouse would be better employed as a playhouse for children or perhaps a retreat for the grown ups. Like the cedar only tougher, and very similar in colour, the thermowood floor is made from environmentally-sound Scandinavian softwood from sustainable forests and heat treated to further extend it’s life. It has a window located central down one of the sides of the structure for light. The roof of the Cedarhouse is crowned in western red cedar shingles which will age to a silvery grey.
