RHS Greenhouse Greenhouse enthusiasts might be interested in taking in the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) National Garden Week, which is being launched next spring with the aim of getting more and more people on to patches.

Tying in with Britain in Bloom, the first National Garden Week is aimed at trying to engage more people into tending a patch and the schedule will include top gardening tips from experts and a range of fun activities for all the family at four different RHS gardens.

RHS director general Sue Biggs said there are more exciting plans to entice as many people as possible, which will be announced in the lead up to the week for maximum effect.

"It is fantastic that this inaugural gardening week combines with the Britain in Bloom launch and the year of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee to get the nation growing," she added.

Earlier this month, the RHS hailed the impact that Britain in Bloom has had on a number of the community groups that are involved in the scheme.ADNFCR-1495-ID-801224382-ADNFCR
