Show-stopping display expected from Interflora
Chelsea Flower Show winner Interflora is set to be one of the key exhibitors at this week's Autumn Harvest Show.
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is running the event and spoke to Interflora florist David Denyar about what visitors can expect.
According to the organisation, Mr Denyar has prepared a "show-stopping curtain of autumn flowers and foliage".
He himself describes it as "a hanging piece of floral art incorporating lots of dahlias from Jon Wheatley and Winchester Growers, and plant material from the gardens of RHS Wisley, cascading down from the ceiling in Lindley Hall".
The expert explained that exhibitors always put a lot into the planning of such shows as it is often the little details that can sway judges' opinions.
Mr Denyar added that Brits should use autumn as a period for getting plants settled in and making any changes before the cold winter period.
Meanwhile, the RHS has put tickets for its 2011 shows on sale. These include the Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and the RHS Show Tatton Park.
