Classic Greenhouses Prince Charles' Royal Garden Party - thought to be the longest running event of its kind in history - is set to continue until Saturday (September 18th).

According to the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), the 12-day event is designed to promote green living and garden and greenhouse enthusiasts are welcome to attend.

Tickets cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for kids, with each day providing a different experience for visitors.

A host of celebrities have already been in attendance, with others set to appear throughout the week.

Alistair McGowan, Jools Holland and Ken Livingstone joined TV horticulture expert Alan Titchmarsh at the event on Friday (September 10th), while Saturday saw visitors treated to Orsola de Castro's upcycling workshop.

As well as music and comedy, wildlife expert Sir David Attenborough will visit tomorrow (September 14th) alongside Celebrity Master Chef finalist Dick Strawbridge.

In other news, the RHS has reminded garden and greenhouse fans planning to apply for the Chris Beardshaw Mentoring Scholarship to get their forms in by the October deadline.ADNFCR-1495-ID-800063245-ADNFCR
