Garden and greenhouse courses offered to public
Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts are now able to pick up new skills through courses offered by the UK's premier gardening group.
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has revealed that it is offering a number of courses through selected colleges and distance learning options.
An array of classes will be available and are designed to suit anyone from the complete beginner to the hardened garden professional.
Level 1 classes will involve picking up the basics and will concentrate on the practical side of fundamental growing.
They will equip novices with the skills they need to get started and give them a taste of what to expect from Level 2 units.
These more advanced courses look into the theory behind gardening and are designed to build on specific areas of a gardener's knowledge.
Meanwhile, the RHS is set to host its Autumn Harvest Show on October 5th and 6th at the RHS Horticultural Halls.
