Fund management firm backs garden and greenhouse show
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has confirmed that its best-known plant and garden show has secured a new sponsor.
Fund management firm M&G will back the prestigious event for the next here years, RHS president Giles Coode-Adams revealed.
He added that the partnership would allow the garden and greenhouse organisation to continue educating and stimulating visitors through the medium of its world-famous showcase.
"RHS shows provide inspiration for people around the world. With a phenomenal response from specialist growers, top designers and leading lights, 2010 RHS Chelsea will be bursting with horticultural delights and world-class displays," he explained.
The sponsorship will be celebrated with M&G bringing a garden of its own to the event, while regular RHS best-in-show winner Tom Stuart-Smith will also display his handiwork.
One of the major attractions at next years event will be created by the staff of Cornwalls Eden Project - a giant greenhouse site housing numerous ecosystems, which also features an ice skating rink until February 2nd.
