RHS redesigns garden and greenhouse website
Regular users of the Royal Horticultural Societys (RHS) website may have noticed a number of changes taking place over the past month.
The body revealed it has been using feedback from garden and greenhouse fans to help redesign the online resource.
A number of features are still undergoing work, such as the search function, which is currently disabled but should be available again soon.
The plant selector function has also not yet been changed, although it is expected to be updated in the new year.
Before then, the members section should once more be fully operational with a completely new look to match the rest of the site.
The organisations technicians are in the process of moving the advice section over to the new look site, while a number of new pieces of video content have also been added.
A section devoted to increasing childrens interest in garden and greenhouse activities has been included, which will encourage kids to begin growing food and flowers in their homes and schools.
Meanwhile, a recent survey of British wildflower populations found that a number of species are on the way back from the brink of extinction, the RHS recently revealed.
