Bespoke Greenhouses The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is looking for garden and greenhouse fans to log on to its website and vote for the Great British Garden Competition.

It is seeking two winners for the contest, who will then see their creations built in east Londons Olympic Park for the 2012 Olympic Games.

Participants were asked to sketch, paint or paste a vision of their idea for the attraction onto an A4 piece of paper.

"We wanted the garden to express the unique qualities found in Britains domestic gardens," the RHS revealed.

It also asked entrants to include a Pierre de Coubertin oak tree - named after the founder of the modern Olympic movement - in the design.

In total, 112 adults and 88 children entered the competition, with the RHS and Olympics minister Tessa Jowell short-listing them into six in each category.

Garden and greenhouse fans are being asked to pick their favourite from each age group and could eventually see the design brought to life in time for the London Olympics.

China hosted the games in 2008, with large fireworks and laser shows a large part of the spectacle.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19387139-ADNFCR
