Bespoke Greenhouses In the same week its scientists found a new disease present in one of the plant species at Garden Wisley, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) revealed the site will host nine days of learning.

The events coincide with British Science Week and begin on September 5th, with growers able to pick up advice on climate change, pests, composting and issues impacting the honeybee.

A guided trail will take garden and greenhouse lovers on a journey through the site, showing attendees how the RHS distributes advice to horticulturalists across the UK.

Furthermore, a tour from the British Ecological Society will explain how climate change is affecting gardens in the country, with visitors learning how herbaceous borders and lawns are being put at risk by environmental alterations.

The sites experts recently identified a plant disease never seen in the UK before that was first reported in Africa in the 1930s.

It hit the headlines in the US and continental Europe in the 1990s when it attacked crops of sweet basil and similar species.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19312173-ADNFCR
