RHS Greenhouse The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has revealed one of its forthcoming events is to focus on the environment.

Attendees at the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show will be taken on a 100-year journey through the UKs gardens, tracking the effects of climate change from 1950, to the present and the possible impact between now and 2050.

Sarah Eberle, who was commissioned by the RHS to create the display, predicts that the next 41 years could see the countrys greenery dry out.

Her exhibit is reinforced by an environmental technology showcase, where greenhouse enthusiasts can learn about how wind turbines, water management, energy-supporting crops, bio fuels and ground source heat pumps can help the situation.

Furthermore, the sustainability theme continues with the fresh produce on offer - horticulturalists can pick up tips on growing their own food sustainably, as well as sampling some of the worlds hottest chillies - including the Dorset Naga.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19239146-ADNFCR
