Cold Frames Collection An investment company staging one of the gardens at the Royal Horticultural Societys Chelsea Flower Show has been awarded a silver medal.

Foreign and Colonial Investment Trust (FCIT) teamed up with landscape design expert Thomas Hoblyn to create the display, titled Wave of Change.

It is the second time the pairing have scooped a gong at the prestigious show, after last year taking gold for their urban garden, Tempest in a Teapot.

"An astonishing amount of work has gone into the planning and creation of this garden and it has been wonderful to watch it take shape here at the show," FCIT manager Jeremy Tigue explained.

The garden was graced by a visit from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II earlier in the week and Mr Tigue said his company was very proud of its achievement.

Meanwhile, the Royal Horticultural Society will continue to educate the nations growers after revealing it has been granted planning permission for a learning centre at its Rosemoor Site.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19178794-ADNFCR
