Shed Collection The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced a partnership deal with the government to encourage the consumption of seasonal fruit and vegetables.

Gardeners in the UK are able to use their greenhouses and outdoor spaces to produce nourishing food for their families and Westminster is keen to encourage this practice.

As part of the We Will If You Will campaign, the RHS will provide horticultural tips to the nations green-fingered growers.

It was officially launched yesterday with a huge "fruit and veg" in Londons Covent Garden.

The display was created by artist Clare Patey and featured more than 42,000 pieces of fresh produce.

Gardeners are being encouraged to begin growing their own food now, with the aim of holding a lunch party for friends and family on July 19th using what they have grown.

Experienced horticulturalists are being asked to become veg doctors for the RHS and help newbies in their local community learn the art of food cultivation.

The societys Cardiff show is set to take place from April 17th until April 19th at Coopers Field in Bute Park.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19102390-ADNFCR
