Cold Frames Collection The advent of March has turned attention to spring at the Eden Project, with temperate curator Rob Brett heralding the imminent flowering of a number of plants.

While the 2008/09 winter might have been the coldest for at least a decade, Edens spring plants are still set for an imminent burst of colour.

"Spring is always a delightful time for any garden and were hoping that this year Eden will look better than ever," Mr Brett commented.

He went on to invite keen gardeners down to the Eden Project - the site of the biggest greenhouse in the world - to take in the vast range of plants and pick up some handy hints and tips from the expert horticulturalists.

Flowers set to bloom this season include tulips, hyacinths, peach blossom, daffodils and crocuses.

Grape hyacinths will also be a big feature in the coming months as thousands have been planted on the roof of one of the buildings.ADNFCR-1495-ID-19060326-ADNFCR
