Survival tips for the Chelsea Flower Show
Gardeners planning to venture to the Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show this year have been offered advice by industry commentator Jane Owen.
Writing in the online pages of the Times, she suggests that maps of both the London underground and the show site are both wise additions to any gardeners bag.
Sun cream and a waterproof are also advisable, given the unpredictability of Britains weather.
Ms Owen also advises sensible shoes to be worn as the site is large and a great deal of walking will be done.
A camera, writing implements and notebook should also be taken along to capture any particularly inspirational floral designs or other titbits.
Finally, people who suffer from hay fever are advised to stock up on antihistamines and also take a handkerchief with them.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that a tribute will be paid to former Beatle George Harrison in the form of a garden at the show.
