Classic Greenhouses The horticultural team at the Eden Project are offering amateur gardeners expert help by running courses at Duchy College Rosewarne, Camborne, in spring. The first course, How To Be A Good Gardener, will begin on 9th March and will run for five weeks. The course will enable gardeners to learn the basics and will involve information on sowing seeds, soil care, taking cuttings, plant care and maintenance and growing vegetables. Each session will last two and a half hours and will be held in weekly in the Garden Design Room at the college. Speaking about the courses, Don Murray, Eden Project's chairman of horticulture, said: "The Eden Project is an inspirational place to practise horticulture and over the years we've built up a very knowledgeable and talented team. "We're very proud to be working with Duchy College Rosewarne which is swiftly developing into a national centre of excellence for horticulture, providing a top-quality standard of education." The second course, Sustainable Gardening, will start in April. Those wishing to obtain more information or enrol in the course can contact Louise Williamson on 01209 722119 or alternatively get in touch via email at louise. williamson@duchy.ac.uk
