Gardening events to look forward to in 2012
The New Year will bring many top events for gardeners to look forward to. In a list of events compiled by the Telegraph, details for popular events such as the RHS's National Gardening Week and Chelsea Flower Show were revealed. Also included were top gardening trends for 2012.
Other major gardening events for 2012 include the unveiling of the Olympic Park for the Olympic Games, the inaugural Chelsea Fringe Festival (May 19th until June 10th) and the Cottesbrooke Plant Finders Fair (June 22nd until June 24th).
The RHS's Chelsea Flower Show will feature show gardens from Andy Sturgeon and last year’s show garden winner, Cleve West, as well work from Sarah Price, a contributor to the Olympic Park's design who will be designing the Telegraph garden.
The RHS's National Gardening Week is also expected to be a big event, with a different theme being offered for each day that it runs.
